Dear,
You can do B.Arch through lateral entry after completion of Diploma in civil from AICTE approved institute. But before admission you might have to clear NATA with valid score. Better you search the institute's site where you intend to get admitted. Best wishes.

Hi Sandeep,
Yes, you can do that. University Grants Commission (UGC) approved that a student can pursue two degrees at the same time but not as a regular student. The rule says "One degree as a regular student and another degree through open/distance learning". So, you can pursue one regular degree from a university of your choice and another one from an open university i.e. IGNOU, VMOU, etc.
Thanks.

Hello Sri, Timings of first year students is tightly controlled by the institution. However, one has the choice to select morning batch or afternoon batch. One needs to attend classroom for about 7-8 hours a day but don't worry. It's not at all troublesome. One gets plenty of time for extra curricular activities.

Hello Saiesh, A very good and thought-provoking question. 50% of fresh engineering graduates could not get jobs. As per the latest reports, B.Sc. Has pushed engineering back to take the second spot as student's choice for graduation. I would, therefore, advise you to go for B.Sc. Rather than engineering.
