Ideally, XAT preparation takes six to nine months, but if candidates have prepared for CAT too, XAT preparation can be done in lesser time as one will have to only work on Decision Making and General Knowledge topics. Those who are weak in English Comprehension must start reading practice early on. The Xavier Aptitude Test XAT is usually conducted in the first week of January every year. As of my knowledge cutoff of September 2021, XAT 2023 is expected to be conducted in the first week of January 2023. After the examination is conducted, the result of XAT 2023 is usually declared in the last week of January or the first week of February. However, the exact date for the declaration of XAT 2023 result has not been announced by XLRI, the conducting body of XAT yet.
