Business courses are there in india like BBA, BMS, BBM, MBA in Finance, marketing,HR, systems. and also B.Com,M.Com courses related to business area. you will be elevated as manager in the organisations. Where as Technology courses like B.Tech,M.Tech in different fields like electronics, mechanical, electrical, computerscience, aeronautical engg, etc. so technology jobs are more technical.

According to me college is good in this budget .
Placements are good as compared to other colleges in Bangalore .
For internship program college support the students , many companies came this year for internship .
There are various clubs in the college where students can show their capabilities and enhance their skills .
One drawback is infrastructure is not so good .
Overall college is good.

If you want to choose an engineering branch solely on maths, then B. Tech in Mathematics and Computing from IIT Guwahati and IIT Kanpur could be a couple of options for you. However, all branches of engineering will have some subjects on Mathematics.
