Admission to General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course at Mata Kaushalya Government Hospital is on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in 12th class and not through a different entrance test. The candidate should have passed 10+2 with English and obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination. Science stream is preferred but not compulsory. It is mostly merit-based based on qualifying exam marks, and candidates belonging to recognized boards such as State Open School and NIOS are also eligible. There is no separate entrance test taken for admission to GNM here.

From recently published top 20 percent cut-offs for Uttar Pradesh Board 2024, cut off under the general category stands at 76.8 %. And your percentage 67 %, puts you outside of top 20 % of UP Board under the general category but as the reader belongs to the reserved categories of OBC, SC or ST categories are relatively somewhat different and even can be a possibility under those limits.
Feel free to ask for cut-offs for the reserved category and eligibility certificate if you want.

Cut-off scores may differ from year to year on the basis of the number of candidates, seat reservation, and general trend of performance. It is better to cross-check the official cutoff lists once they are declared and also scan waiting lists or spot admissions.

For DU and JNU, the expected cutoff for MA Sanskrit is generally between 80-100 for the General category. Nevertheless, cutoffs are subject to variations depending on parameters such as applicant numbers and number of seats. Being a former DU student would not necessarily make a difference. Your score is good, you can easily get admission in both of the colleges.

This waiver is applicable to General and OBC students, based on their family income. Additionally, you will need to pay for other fees such as hostel and mess charges.
