Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. So, the University extends Scholarship and Financial Aid Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints.
Scholarship/ Financial Aid can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. In the last seven years, University has offered Scholarships/ Financial Aid worth 500+ Crores.
The fee structure depends on many factors like the program you want to join, the caliber of the student, the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and in the entrance tests if applicable. So, applicable fees for the program depend on the Scholarships if any is applicable.
Scholarship will generally be awarded on the basis of previous performance in academics, cultural, sports or other activities or under specific scholarship schemes category for a particular section of students. Financial Aid will be provided to the students belonging to underprivileged students like orphans, persons with disability etc. or some specific groups like Wards of Defence personnel etc.
LPU Scholarship scheme upto Rs. 6 Lac per student Students have been awarded with scholarship worth Rs. 100+ crores in last year only
Scholarship Categories: Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories:
1. Scholarship:
oEligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. For example, on the basis of performance in 10+2 for Undergraduate Programmes and Graduation for Postgraduate Programmes
oCertain National Level Tests (like JEE (Main), NEET, UCEED, CAT, MAT, GATE, GPAT etc.)
oLPUNEST: (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test)
oPerformance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards
oScholarships/ Fee Benefits for Ph.D.
oScholarship Scheme for Toppers of School Education Boards
2. Financial Aid
oFinancial Aid Need Based
oFinancial Aid for Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/ Para- Military Personnel and their Dependents
oFinancial Aid to Orphans
oFinancial Aid to Persons with Certain Disability
