Jamia Millia Islamia offers a two-year MA programme to the stduents across more than 30 specialisations. It is a two-year programme spread over four semesters, admission to which is based on a candidate’s performance in JMI Entrance Exam. The final merit list for admission to MA at JMI is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance test, seat reservation and relaxation criteria of JMI. Yes, JMI offers both BSc and BSc (Hons) programmes across four and five specialisations, respectively. The admission process for both these programmes is conducted through JMI entrance test and the final selection of candidates is based on their performance in previous qualifying degree exams, performance in the entrance test and seat availability. But before everything else, students must meet the minimum eligibility requirements set by the university which is passing Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate with a relevant combination of subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/ or Biology, among others.

 The top universities in India have set upper or lower age limits for admission to their courses. However, Jamia Millia Islamia has not imposed any such age restrictions. There is no upper age limit to appear in the JMI 2023 exam. However, candidates securing the same rank and marks in JMI exam will be given preference, if they are higher in age than the others.
