If you are a General merit student then you will not get and if you fall under any category like 2A , sc , st , 3b etc. then you have the chance of getting seat in PES University. Your degree percentage doesn't matter here .

After IIMS you can consider Alliance School of Business, Bangalore, Christ University, Bangalore, Welingkars Mumbai and UPES Dehradun.

Vellore is a private college.wheras NIT is a government institute.
NIT had got brand name.
Plus getting this rank and opting vellore is no point.
So ,I would suggest NIT Kurukshetra.
