Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University placements are good as compared to NLU.
Going to a private college would give you both experience and exposure but what I am skeptical about is the quality.
So before selecting the private college see how old and well established it is.
Also, NLU Shimla will be taking its second batch, so it would be better if you get in touch with some seniors from there and ask them to share their experiences.

The Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Aurangabad was established in 2017 and is still rapidly establishing its standing in the legal education field. However, MNLU Aurangabad is not as of now listed among the top National Law Universities in India.
