Yes institute of Forensic Science Mumbai is expensive compared to other Bsc Government Colleges. This is Higher than average  fees for Bsc programme in indian government college. But Not expensive compared to the Private University.

Students must have Completed their Bechelor Degree in Bsc in college. Students must have minimum 50% in their Bechelor Degree. There are relaxation for Reserv Catagory like SC and ST. Students must have pass in enterst exam taken by the Mumbai University.

Institute have also follow reserve policy as per Government of Maharashtra and mumbai University. If Students are not follow that may trouble in future.

Government University Have Low fees but Private University generally have High fees for Bsc. It the low fees for Bsc student 1 year fees around 30000 is not much more for any students. Amity University and Manipal University take more fees fron Bsc students.
