Dear Candidate, IILM University is offering 3 years full time degree programme which brings together the two interrelated fields of study History and International Relations. The underlying belief that the study of the contemporary world and how nations relate to each other at various levels cannot be understood without knowing the historical context leads to a dovetailing of both the subjects. Therefore, the programme we offer is a beautiful blend of core subjects of History and International Relations and elective subjects from Liberal Arts such as Microeconomics, Academic Writing, Psychology, Law, Art & Culture, and Environmental Studies. Our pedagogy is a combination of interactive and engaging lectures, seminars, tutorials, field trips, group and individual study, workshops, practical sessions and much more. The curriculum focuses on interdisciplinary and contemporary issues giving a broader horizon to learn. Unique experiential learning and hands-on approach using some of the advanced tools makes learning deep and meaningful. The course mandates a 6-8 weeks summer internship/live project to make the students more attuned to the real world. We also offer avenues for foreign education through summer school and student exchange opportunities. A student of History & IR can have multiple opportunities to work in government and private sectors as well as profit and non-profit organizations. They can also pursue their career in the field of International Relations as strategic experts, civil servants, as members of the embassy of different nations, academicians, political analysts, and much more.
