Application Deadlines:

For scholarships awarded in the Fall and Winter Semesters of each academic year, the online application system opens on the first day of regular post-secondary classes in September and January. The application period concludes three weeks later, on the last Friday of the same months.

To apply for a Canadian study visa, follow these steps:

Choose a Designated Learning Institution (DLI), such as Northern College. Make sure you've been accepted by a college recognised as a DLI by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Gather the necessary documents, including Acceptance letter from the DLI, valid passport or travel document, proof of financial support to cover tuition fees, living expenses, and return travel costs. Proof of language proficiency (English or French, depending on the language of instruction), and any other required documents.
Visit the IRCC website and create an online account. This is done through Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada's (IRCC) official website.Complete and submit the application form as directed on the website.

Depending on your country of residence, you may be asked to provide biometrics (fingerprints and a photograph) at a Visa Application Centre.

Additionally, some applicants may need to undergo a medical examination, which must be conducted by an approved panel physician.

TNTET exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper has 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four options and a single correct answer. The total marks for both papers are 150, with each question carrying one mark. The distribution of questions and marks in each paper is as follows: -

 Paper 1: The 150 MCQs are divided into five sections, with 30 questions in each section. The sections are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 (Hindi), Language 2 (English/Urdu/Sanskrit), Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. 

 Paper 2: The 150 MCQs are divided into five sections, with 30 questions in each section. The sections are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 (Hindi), Language 2 (English/Urdu/Sanskrit), Mathematics and Science, and Social Studies/Social Science. It is important to note that each question carries equal weightage, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates must score a minimum of 60 per cent marks to qualify the UPTET exam.

HPU Management Aptitude Test (HPU MAT) is conducted for admission to MBA programme of HPU Business School. HPU MAT question paper will consist of questions four sections viz.,  English Comprehension,   Business Environment,  General Knowledge and Reasoning and Numerical Skills. The General English part will have questions from Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Ability. Reasoning and Numerical section will include questions from algebra, statistics, number systems, percenatges, profit and loss and so forth. The General Awareness section will have questions from General Knowledge, Current Affairs and Business Scenario. Business Environment Areness section will imclude questions from World Economy, Indian Economy, Industry, Banking, Trade, Famous business tycoons & industrialists, corporate assocations BSE & NSE, logos & tags lines orf different companies and so forth.

Northern College offers a two-year Diploma course in Civil Engineering Technology, where students are provided with all the essential theoretical and practical knowledge needed to carry out the design of reinforced concrete and other modern-day techniques required for quality residential construction. International students seeking admission at the Northern College for a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology are required to qualify for class 12 or equivalent higher education with English, physics and maths as compulsory subjects from a recognised board. Furthermore, the students are also required to have a valid score in either of the English Language Proficiency Tests such as IELTS/TOEFL/ PTE. International students are also required to submit the official transcripts of their qualifications.
