Prabakaran, Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. They must read this http://bit.ly/SXc9GD. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly. Hi,
IT and HR are two different things. If you do combination of both you may find it easier to get placement in the IT and ITES sector in the role of recruitment and Talent Management. If your core interest is hiring, HE recruitment, talent development and management or technical training to the new hire in these sector, then the combination helps. For other role of HR such as policy, strategy, business partner, an additional specialisaiton of IT is hardly useful. Again, the placement also depends on reputation of your institute and type of company visiting your campus
