Looking at the current competitive scenario, M.Com is just simple PG degree. Even if you go for MBA, it would be a good decision, but in that also deciding a good management college is again a big deal, because getting a simple degree is not worthy. As per the previous years of trends your GATE score is not enough for admission in M.Tech Thermal engineering in NITs. However you may participate in National Spot Round (Conducted after Internal Sliding by CCMT for more confirmation. Similarly for IITs you needs to score above 725 in GATE.

Hello,
Yes after completion of your Diploma in engineering you can definitely seek admission directly in second year of engineering under what is called as lateral admission procedure. The admissions invariably are based on the marks obtained in the Diploma examination. In almost all the states in India, these admissions are done centrally by what is called as the directorate of technical education of the state. Scholarship is available depending upon the students' performance along with their financial background. The loan facility is quite good since this is a banking institute backed by RBI, the college does have tie-up with SBI for the loan.

There are very thin chances of getting selected from NL Dalmia since the CMAT cut off is generally higher than 90 and hence at 83 Percentile it will be very tough, however be well prepared and prepare for other colleges as well. Best of Luck!
