It Depends on the category you belong to. If you are a general category student without ECA quota forget about North Campus as B.A. Eco (H) is one of the most demanded course here in DU so the cut offs are insanely high. You can get a few off campus and South campus Colleges but don't expect a miracle in the very first list itself. You will have to wait for the other lists.

hi,

Yes, you are eligible to pursue an MBA at Lovely Professional University (LPU) with a B.Sc. degree from Himalayan University, provided you meet LPU's admission criteria. Himalayan University, located in Arunachal Pradesh, is a UGC-recognized private university, established under the Himalayan University Act, 2013. This recognition ensures that degrees awarded by Himalayan University are valid for further studies and employment across India.

LPU requires MBA applicants to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university. Additionally, LPU accepts scores from entrance exams

Yes, it's valid! – If you've done your graduation from Himalayan University, you can apply for MBA at LPU.

  1. Himalayan University is UGC-recognized, and that's what matters. LPU accepts degrees from universities that are recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

  2. Minimum eligibility is 50% marks in graduation (for general category). If you've got that, you're good to go.

  3.  You can appear for LPUNEST (LPU's own test) or apply using CAT/MAT/CMAT scores if you have them.

  4.  LPU doesn't judge you based on where you did your UG from. Once you're in, everyone gets the same opportunities.

  5.  LPU focuses more on your skills, go

Economics will help them to develop logical thinking, so it will always be better for such students to go for courses like MBA. In that sense, they have some advantage over other courses. In MBA, there is a great deal of concentration on mathematics, mathematical economics, statistical tools and now because of big data analysis, you require mathematical skills, so there will be an added advantage for economics students. Maths (Hons) is similar to Economics (Hons. ) - truth or myth? Not at all. Both are completely different. In Maths (Hons. ), there's more of theory. In Economics (Hons. ), maths is used, but only for the application of

You can pursue M.Sc in Statistics, even if your B.Sc does not include any course on statistics. For example in Osmania University, University of Hyderabad, admissions to M.Sc. (Math/ApplMath/Stat/Apply. Stat) used to happen (currently I have no idea, but I guess it is still the case, anyway check their wepage) through a single entrance examination. However admission to IIT M.Sc. Stat programmes are done through a JAM (entrance exam for M.Sc. In Mathematical Statistics, which involves some stats also (see JAM website for a syllabus).
