Dear Jimit,
I would recommend you to go to Atharva Inst. (AIMS) as it is far better in education and placements than Thakur, Aditya , Saraf and Alkesh Mody. Atharva is also ranked amongst TOP 10 B-schools in Mumbai this year. And Alos approved by NAAC.
Also the Faculty at Atharva take lot of efforts on students and their growth, they conduct lot of seminar, Guest Lectures through out the year. Their Placement record is quite good. Highest package last year was - 18L and median was 6.5L

Go for VLSI, you'll be learning new things your entire life, and your salary will too be increasing ever. Go for Embedded, innovations are awaiting. It's the road less taken than the other two, but it's worth that. Go for Networking if you're typical non-core, and software interested type.
