Admission to the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course at CMC Ludhiana is made according to the rules and regulations of Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Indian Nursing Council of the Government as may be applicable. 6. The test will consist of 100 objective-type questions with no negative marking, covering subjects like English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Aptitude & Awareness.


7. The results of the admission test will be declared, and the successful candidates will be required to submit their fees and original documents for verification.


8. The tuition fee for the first year is Rs. 36,000/-, and the payment should be made through a bank demand draft payable to "Christian Medical College Ludhiana Society" at Ludhiana.

The admission criteria for General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) at CMC Ludhiana for reserved category students is based on merit in the qualifying examination/entrance test. The distribution of seats is as follows:

• Punjab Christian Minority (Female): 20 seats


• Punjab Christian Minority (Male): 4 seats


• Non-Punjab Christian Minority (Female): 10 seats


• Non-Punjab Christian Minority (Male): 2 seats

To get admission to General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) at School of Nursing, Oil India Hospital, Oil India Limited, follow these steps:
1. Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria: Only female candidates are eligible, and they must have passed 10+2 with English and a minimum of 40% marks for General/OBC-NCL/EWS category candidates and 35% for SC/ST category candidates.
2. Register for the General Nursing and Midwifery Entrance Examination (GNMEE) conducted by Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, Guwahati.
3. Apply online with your GNMEE roll number and total marks obtained.
4. Upload required documents, including the GNMEE scorecard, income certificate, and other specified certificates.
5. Selection is based on the GNMEE score and weightage marks of the income certificate.
6. If selected, undergo a full-time regular 3-year GNM course at Assam Oil School of Nursing (AOSN).
7. After completion, you will be paid a stipend and undergo one-year post-qualification certificate training (PQCT) at OIL Hospital, followed by placement opportunities.
