Integrated Ph.D. is a unique course. In this you get M.Sc. And Ph.D. degree together after 6-7 years. In first 1.5 years you do course work and than you start to work on project and after 6month-1year you permanently become Ph.D. student. Usually if you do Ph.D. after M.Sc. Separately. You do course work in first year and than you start working in lab. But here you are working in lab immediately after M.Sc. So it saves one year in integrated Ph.D. course. You cant leave place after just doing M.Sc. You need to do both M.Sc. Ph.D. to leave the place.
