The University provides a five-year integrated course called B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) (Master of Laws) programme that lasts one year. In order to graduate from the National Law University and Judicial Academy in Assam's one-year LL.M. degree, students must complete three required papers, six elective papers, and a dissertation. 

The University provides a five-year integrated course called B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Five-Year Integrated Course, in which the first two years of study combine law courses with Social Science disciplines like Economics, History, Political Science, and Sociology as well as an English language course. For the first three years of school, every topic is required. But in the fourth and fifth years, students can choose from five different streams of optional subjects: Corporate and Intellectual Property Law; Administrative and Constitutional Law; Consumer Protection and Environmental Law; Criminal Law and Criminology; and International Law and Human Rights. The Semester System is used by the NLUJA. There are two semesters in each academic year, making the complete Five-Year Course divided into ten semesters.
