I dnt think the past papers for JMI are available online as they dnt let students take those wd them. and they are neither available on JMI's website. bt u can get the syllabus for the entrance exam from the website and prepare accordingly. here is the link to the syllabus : http://jmi.ac.in/upload/programme/ets_fhl_ar_ba.pdf

engg is all about machines and your interests in them. if u wanna do a new thing. go for law degree. a drawback about engg is that if u dont turn up to b a student of a really good institute like IIT or NIT or else like them, your whole career can end up into working whole day fr a low pay company, but if u really can do it from any other good institute then definitely go for engg. it can yield good income . law can be another good option since scopes of being a good govt officials is increasing day by day. legal corporate are earning heavy. it's all about interest . go for the one which one suits you better. it's awkward but i too be

The ranking varies as per the different surveyors. Besides placements, there are other factors that define a good and reputed institute such as Faculty, Course Material, Quality Education, Fees, Accreditation and Infrastructure.
Consider the above parameters and then take a wise decision after thorough discussion with your peer group, family and faculty at school/college.
And for best results, I may suggest you to personally visit the institutes and interact with the existing batches and also try reaching alumni for clear and transparent review.

UPSC examination is conducted every year and on the basis of this examination a number of IAS, IPS, IFS officers are recruited.
Regarding the subjects, there is a big list of optional subjects to choose from. You may choose according to your personal interest and skills. I would suggest you to opt for a particular subject in which you are comfortable and find scoring as it will help you to crack the exam.
