Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is a degree course offered by the colleges affiliated to the universities. So, only universities can offer MBA programmes.
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a Diploma course offered by the institutes that are recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and which are autonomous and not affiliated to any university. However, accreditation by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) makes an institute's PGDM course equivalent to an MBA.
The fee is high in case of PGDM as compared to MBA. MBA institutes charge less fee as it is almost similar to university standard.
A student pursuing MBA will be studying more of the theoretical aspects of management. An MBA institute will be following a fixed curriculum as it will be based on the university guidelines.
A student pursuing a PGDM course will be gaining knowledge regarding building soft skills and the programme is more industry-oriented. Candidates often make mistakes while filling the application form either because of inexperience or confusion. Therefore, CBSE has provided the JEE Main form correction facility to edit the particulars in the online application form. Follow the given steps to edit the online form-
Step 1- Visit the www.jeemain.nic.in
Step 2- Enter Application Number, Password and Security Pin to access application form for correction.
Step 3- Edit the information that needs correction except for the mode of exam from Online to Offline.
Step 4- Submit the application form. Pay the additional fee (if required).
Notes:
Changes will be updated immediately if an additional fee is not required.
JEE Main correction in the category is also possible during form correction.
In case additional exam fee is required to pay based on the changes in application form particulars, the final updates will be reflected after the payment.
The additional amount (if applicable) has to be paid either by Credit/Debit/SBI Buddy/Paytm or through e-Challan of Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC Bank.
