Getting admission in in directly second year of engineering wire lateral admission process is quite simple. you need to register yourself on the portal of the directorate of technical education of the state of Maharashtra. they will form a merit list based on the marks obtained by the students in their diploma examination and then based on this merit list the seats will be allotted to them in due course of time. however a student can perhaps seek admission directly in the deemed to be universities or private engineering colleges under their management quota seats.

Hello Sneha, It's very nice indeed to know you are desire to do research in your chosen field. Yes normally speaking the eligibility for admission for a Ph.D. or a doctoral course is post graduation in that subject. However some institutions and universities allow admission for post graduation and research together called dual degree courses. You need to check this from the institutes website where you intend to seek admission. Best wishes to you.

Hello DSR, just do not worry. I have done your graduation in chemical engineering this itself means that you have quite a lot of knowledge and quite a lot of IQ. You should now obtain additional degree or Diploma in the management field something like MBA. Once you do this then you are qualifications will increase and the chances of placement will increase manifold. Best wishes to you.
