There is no such provision for direct admission to any of the programmes at Kuvempu University. The university course admissions are both merit and entrance-exam-based. For MBA and MCA, the university fills the unfilled seats through university entrance exam. KU also conducts an entrance test for admission to BPEd and MPEd courses. Once the selection is over, Kuvempu University releases a selection list to announce the names of selected candidates.

The valuation of student’s performance in theory courses shall be based on two components: Continuous Evaluation which is 40 marks and semester-end examinations which is 60 marks.
