Its all your own perception based on your analysis about top few institutes in your area. Degree or Self accredited programs won't matter much, but your skills will matter the most. Sketching and Fine Arts forms the core of Animation, because it is all about moving images that moves you. So, while doing any program in Animation you will have to learn foundation of Fine Art through Sketching and Drawing as well as Aesthetic sense.
While choosing any institute ensure that you are taught by Experienced & proficient Mentors. Also ensure adequate infrastructure, industry interface & validate placement track record of alumni's. Learning Software alone won't help you.
First acquire artistic skills on paper, then learn application software's for expressing skills in the Digital Medium.

1. The Selection Process includes the following criteria: Academic Performance (Class 10, Class 12 and Undergraduate Degree), Group discussion (GD), Micro Presentation (MP), Written Skill Assessment (WSA) and Personal Interview (PI).
2. Candidates must report for the above selection process on the allotted date and at least 30 minutes prior to the time stipulated in the E-Admit Card.
3. Those candidates not reaching the venue at the allotted date and time will not be permitted to take part in the selection process.
4. Candidates are requested to start early to avoid traffic congestions.
5. All candidates are requested to prepare for a Micro Presentation (Extempore) as part of the Selection Process. Candidates will be asked to speak on any of the topics given in our selection process link on “Topics for Presentation 2015" during the GD (The Topics will be published on or before February 28, 2015).
6. Request for change in GD_MP_WSA_PI dates will not be entertained.
