As per UGC guidelines, one course has to be pursued in regular mode whereas the other course can be pursued in distance mode. Most of the D.Ed courses which are accepted across schools for recruitment purposes are full-time in nature. The new UGC guidelines therefore give flexibility to students to pursue graduation course in distance in order to continue their higher studies after Class 12th.
