Minimum 60% is required in class 12th. There is entrance based admission in some college while some has direct merit based admission. So, the marks required is generally more than 85% in class 12th as number of seats is less and competition is high for this course.

You can look for colleges which do not force students to sit in the class or they have no criteria of compulsory attendance. I think it is being offered in most of the autonomous universities.
