There are negative marking for wrong answers in SSC CPO exam. The marking scheme is given below.

• There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper 1 and 2. Earlier, the negative marking was one-third.
• For the correct answer, candidates score one mark
• Marks scored by candidates is normalised to prepare the result

To get an M.Tech seat at IIT Dharwad, students must follow the below-mentioned steps:

1. Check the eligibility criteria. Only those who meet the eligibility criteria are considered for the selection process.

2. If eligible, fill out the application form available on the institute's official website

3. After that, fill out the COAP application form and participate in the counselling process on the scheduled date.

4. If allocated a seat, report to the institute for verification of documents.

5. Pay the admission fees to secure the seat.

IIT Dharwad offers a limited number of seats for M.Tech courses. As per official sources, the institute offers 106 seats spread across different M.Tech specialisations. Students who wish to get a seat must have appeared for the GATE exam. Students are also required to participate in the COAP counselling process.
