If you are passionate about design and are willing to go the extra mile and work extremely hard to carve a career in design then do try out the Master's course at NID.
I am currently pursuing my Masters in “New Media Design" @ NID and I have a lot of mechanical engineers as my batch mates.
Yes, there is an age limit of 30 years to apply for a Master's course at NID.

Sorry to say but with just 34 marks in WBJEE, you will not get admission in any Govt. college even if you belong to SC category. But still, your rank is too high and is out of the cut-off for Govt. colleges.
So, go for a private college.

Hi Shashi, there is no restriction to the educational background. You can be a graduate in any discipline however since a police officer is required to understand the legal system you can pursue law or even political science or economics but there is no such criteria. You must, however, give the IPS exam or even the UPSC/State PSC exams.

It would be difficult for you to get a National Law school with this score. I suppose you must have appeared for other law entrance exams also like AILET, SET, MHCET, BLAT and HPNLET, so look upon them and be cautious during the counselling procedure.
Good luck.
