Hello Utsav Sarkar, yes indeed, for getting admission in postgraduate course in engineering many colleges have prescribed GATE as the qualifying examination for giving admissions. Now this examination is conducted for many subjects that are available for doing postgraduate studies. A student has to select the subject of choice for the subject in which he desires to study post graduation. It also depend on which type of course you wish to pursue. Fees of central universities is affordable & also many scholarships are available. You can search various type of scholarship in internet. These are mean and merit based. Few high fees courses from IIT /IIM are worth education loan. Few low fees high value colleges are BHU, AMU, Jamia, DU, IP, TISS, top central universities, Lucknow university, AIMS, etc.
