Prasomit, If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in UI Design, Graphic Design, Storyboarding, Animation Design, Game Design, 3D Modelling, Texturing and Lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Dear Ashish,
You have not mentioned the course that you wish to apply for. The eligibility criteria varies for different courses. We have Management / General / Merit seats. You will need to apply for admission and appear for Banking Aptitude Test followed by PI to check which type of seat will you be eligible in.
We do not have an on-campus hostel available. However, the institute is situated in a student neighborhood. Several PG / Hostels are available nearby. Also, being close to metro station the institute is easily accessible from all parts of Delhi.
