Annai Velankanni Engineering College has basic facilities like labs, library, hostel, and transport. Some companies like Infosys and Sutherland visit, but placements are limited. In 2023, only around 56 students were placed, with an average package of INR 3.6 LPA and highest around INR 7 LPA. Many students say the teaching quality is average and faculty support is not very strong. If you have better options, consider them. But if you join here, focus on improving your skills through online courses and internships to boost your career chances after graduation. Don’t depend only on the college for placements.

Students should make a timetable while preparing for UK board exam. Keep enough time for revision and question papers. Do not spend time on mobile phone. Ask doubts with teachers or friends.

Regular practice, revision, and solving previous year question papers can help you score better. Subjects like Hindi and English also carry good marks if your grammar and writing skills are strong. Yes, many topics in the UK Board 10th syllabus also appear in competitive exams like NTSE, Olympiads, or scholarship tests. If you understand the basic concepts well, it becomes easier to prepare for both. Try to solve higher-level questions in subjects like Science and Math. Take out some extra time daily for competitive exam preparation.

It is best to revise each subject at least once a week. After finishing one chapter, do a quick review the next day, then again after a week. Make short notes, flashcards, or summary points to help with revision. Regular revision of UK class 10 syllabus keeps everything fresh in your mind till exam day. Don't leave revision for the last moment.
