Hi Ash, the syllabus of IIMC entrance examination includes everything general and political. If I have to break it down and give you few generic examples, then I would say, general awareness, basic understanding about the social dynamics, awareness about all economic and social issues, knowledge about international affairs and how the power dynamic of the world works, the impact of the said power dynamics on India etc. Apart from these, they also look for your language capabilities, comprehension skills, analytic skills and a little bit of aptitude. So brush up your social awareness well and practice your writing skills and you will be

Hello Karan,
It's of course possible. In fact many institutes of eminence have as eligibility condition 'graduation in branch'. But one needs to clear GATE paper in the desired subject. Here things become interesting. It definitely will be tough initially but then human mind is such that, we find it easy if we like it. My personal opinion is why not PG in own branch? But please go ahead if this new branch is what you like.
Best wishes.

Hello Siddharth,
You have neither mentioned the college nor university. Some universities have papers of previous years alongside answers on their website but many don't. In such a scenario, you need to join one of the coaching classes since they procure such papers for the benefit of their students. In such a scenario, the only recourse for you is to join one of the coaching classes.
