Scuttle of for selection to sit in entrance exam is 60% for general category and 55% for sc/st.
After the entrance there are two steps to follow and succeed to avail your seat - GD and Personal interview.
To pass the entrance exam you need to get minimum 40% marks and then scores of GD and interview will add to make a final score of all three entities - I.e, entrance, GD, Interview.
Which will help I'm selection according to the ranks.

As per the reports, IIFT has a total number of 360 seats for the next academic year. Out of this 50% of the seats are reserved for OBC,SC,ST and NRI. So general candidates will be admitted in only 50% of the remaining seats i.e 180.
IIFT will change its cut off every year if required but the cut off remains same for the last 3 years. IIFT exam is for a total marks of 100. Last year cut off was 50marks. So this year it will be same or it will be around 55.
