RTU functions as an affiliating university, overseeing a network of colleges that provide various degree programs, including Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), and Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT).

As of April 2011, RTU has affiliations with 202 colleges. Among them, B.Tech programs are available at nine government-funded institutes and 109 private institutions. MBA programs are offered at seven government-funded institutes and 122 private ones. For MCA degrees, there are seven government-funded institutes and 25 private institutions. M.Tech programs are available in 24 colleges, and BHMCT programs are offered in four colleges. SGTB Khalsa College BA (Hons) admissions are based on the CUET scores. To apply for the BA (Hons) programmes, candidates are required to follow certain process which include appearance in the CUET, registration for DU CSAS, counselling process and seat allocation. Given below is the admission process:

STEP 1: CUET Application Process

Candidates must register on the CUET UG portal, fill out the online application form and pay the CUET UG exam fees.

STEP 2: SGTB Khalsa College BA (Hons) Application Process

Candidates must appear for the CUET. The next step of the admission process is to apply for DU UG admission through the Common Seat Allocation System. DU registration process is divided into three phases:

Phase 1: Applying to the University of Delhi

Phase 2: Filling the preference for BA (Hons) programmes and SGTB Khalsa College

Phase 3: Allocation Cum Admission

During Phase One of the application process, candidates must register for fresh admission. If candidates are applying through sports or ECA quota, they must upload supporting documents. The final step of the application process is to pay the CSAS 2024 application fees of INR 250 (INR 100 for SC/ ST/ Pwd category candidates).

STEP 3: SGTB Khalsa College BA (Hons) Selection Criteria

After the declaration of CUET results, candidates must apply for phase two where they must fill out the preference for SGTB Khalsa College and BA (Hons) programmes.

STEP 4: DU CSAS Counselling Process and Seat Allocation

The final round of admissions is the allocation cum admission round. After the declaration of CUET UG results, DU will allot SGTB Khalsa College according to the preference given by candidates and scores obtained by them in the entrance exam.

Once candidates accept the provisionally allocated seat, the college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by candidates. The college has an option to 'reject' the admission if they find discrepancy in the information provided by candidates. If the college accepts the application, candidates must pay the SGTB Khalsa College BA (Hons) fees.
