If you are really interested in a career in law (i.e if you want to register yourself as an advocate and practise law), the answer is negative. B.L/LL.B degrees are not available on distance learning basis.
If you want to excel in certain areas of law and excel in those lines, few programs are available on distance learning basis. (eg., MBL, POST-GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN HUMAN RIGHTS LAW (PGDHRL), POST-GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL LAW AND ETHICS (PGDMLE) etc)
With these courses (and without a LL.B./B.L on Regular basis) you will not be able to practise.
