Amity is not upto the mark to study the international business.Cases are there that people get admission without even passing 12th! Now what do we say about that. People who go to Amity are those who don't get through any engg or mgmt any where and don't make it to DU or any other decent university either. So you can imagine the quality of those students. A few lakhs in AIEEE and most often 60s or 70s in the boards. Do you think they are capable students? (Even if they have brains, they aren't willing to study at all)
Infrastructure is quite good.Get over the fancy buidlings and ACs. Butv the labs are not upto the mark. People who acredit universities will voucto this, DU South Campus Student's Welfare dean itself made fun of Amity on these grounds
Faculty is quite Poor and lacks knowledge! The faculty is just not upto the mark. They don't know their subject. Again that dean can vouch to that fact.
Placements is 100% only on paper! Poor pay packets. I have heard that they throw you out in a couple of months. You are not gonna find any other job after that. So practically 0% placement.
There are several advantages and advantages of engaging in international business. The disadvantages are that it leads to job cuts to the developing countries, weakens environmental policies and weakens policies in labour. Though 86 percent of international business MBA graduates in 2012 had jobs, according to the Graduate Management Admission Council, 14 percent had not yet found employment.
Its some what sure that international business MBA may not get you the job that you want. Instead, it may be more beneficial to get a specialized MBA.
I don't think u should think of amity university unless and until u are looking for a low grade university then i would suggest amity is the best.The main drawback of Amity is that it is a private institution and the most IMPORATANT is that it offers diplomas not proper degrees. first of all decide what in which line u want to go and then according to that decide like if u want to do international business MBA international business. then go for Symbiosis,Pune and CBS Delhi are the best and they offer proper degrees.
I am not against amity.I am just telling that it doesn't compare well with best institutes.think twice before taking admissions
