Cutoff basically depends on the number of persons appearing for a given exam and the number of students who have filled the corresponding institute or college form. More is the number of students who have filled the admission form the cut off will definitely increase. But if the number of students filling the form is less than the cutoff will decline .
So it all depends on the number of students filing the form. Cutoff vary from year to year and at some times you may see that it may go higher while at some times it may decline and lower rank may take admission in the college.
So basically predicting the cutoff before it comes is difficult as it may vary this year but you can always predict the cutoff depending on the last year admissions.

If you are from some category then also you need about 93-95 percentile in CAT. The procedure to get an IIM call is very simple you have to just perform in CAT. To get a call after that call you're academics of 10th,12thand graduation will be seen and a composite score is created for you after getting call from an IIM in that composite score is created after your interview like IIMs call interview of like 1500-2000 students per IIM. So, then they are shortlisted on basis of that composite score. Your CAT percentile will help you to get a call from IIMs then your composite score will help you to get inside an IIM.
