For B.Tech, the total expense for 4 years (including tuition + hostel) usually goes around ₹28–35 lakhs, depending on your branch and accommodation. It's on the higher side compared to many colleges, so budgeting is important.

Hello Mousumi Chatterjee, firstly I must congratulate you and your son for scoring excellently in JEE Mains examination. It's tough to hazard a guess about prospects of admission based solely on percentile since we do not know what choices are given by those above us. However to help, Shiksha has designed a college predictor taking in data of many previous years. I am attaching it herewith. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-college-predictor
Best wishes to you.

ACPC merit rank is calculated from your GUJCET marks (starting from this year) earlier they used JEE Main marks and its percentile. So ACPC merit marks is calculated from combining 40% of your percentile of your GUJCET marks and 60% of your percentile of PCM 12th Board Marks, whether it be GSEB, CBSE or ICSE. So if you cleared your 12th board in 2019 and are applying for ACPC meritlist in 2021, then your name should be included in the meritlist if you have taken the GUJCET exam and have scored well in it along with good PCM marks in your 12th board exams.
