Hey there!
I am a final year IS student at NMAMIT, NITTE and my CET rank was 4.5k I tried so hard till third round but I couldn't get CS through CET. But in my case I belong to OC category if you belong to any other category, you might have a chance just try for it. But after seeing four years (almost 4 years) I can tell you that there exists no difference between CS and IS the only difference might subjects will be jumbled but both CS and IS have to go through the same set of subjects so even if you get IS I think you should go for it.
Hope this answers your question. All the best mate :)

Hello Anand Ratna Maurya, as per my information lateral admission in engineering colleges is given directly into the second year and not the third year. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about this aspect. If they are giving admissions into the sixth semester, it's not available on their website. https://www.shiksha.com/university/singhania-university-jhunjhunu-23718/course-bachelor-of-technology-b-tech-lateral-entry-236858?city=12240
Best wishes to you.

It is difficult to determine if you will get a seat in Vignan University Women's for CSE based on your AIR rank of 35000 in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. It depends on the number of seats available, the cut off marks and the competition. You should contact the university directly for more information.

Hello, Deekshitha! You can't get a CSE seat in Raghu Engineering College. Because 2019 last rank in CSE for OC- EWS girls is 27621. For your rank, the best colleges in Vizag are Vignan's Institute of Engineering for Women and Nadimpalli Satyanarayana Raju Institute of Technology. You can try Shiksha college predictor for better results. The link is https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/ap-eamcet-college-predictor. Hope my answer is helpful. Please upvote my answer.
