Yes, joining a coaching for preparation does not guarantee success in the CAT exam. You can certainly prepare yourself, given that you plan things well: a) Give yourself sufficient time to prepare between when you decide to attempt CAT and actually take your first attempt. How to crack the CAT exam? The exam offers tough competition to get into Iims or other top B-schools. A large number of CAT toppers crack CAT with self-preparation, and more than 60-70 percent CAT aspirants preferred self-preparation in the past also by making a well devised Self Study plan for CAT Exam Preparation at home on their own.

Hello Siva, I must congratulate you for getting a good rank in the Andhra Pradesh entrance examination. Even though this ranking is good, it may be a bit less if you want to get admission only in CSE. This is so sense almost every student gives this branch as his first choice. However to help you I am attaching a link that will predict the branch and the college that you can get based on your performance in this examination. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/ap-eamcet-college-predictor

No, you will not get admission in MBA if your percentile is less than 50 as the minimum requirement is 55% or more as per the colleges. Your score in MAT or XAT only matters only for getting seat avakolabity among huge competition, when your score in degree is good you get admission in MBA colleges. If you have good money then you can opt for payment seats from the colleges which are 2 or 3 times higher than the actual fees.
