While applying for admission BTech at NIT Hamirpur, candidates shall keep the below-mentioned documents ready for filling the application smoothly:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Entrance exam scorecard
  • Class 10 mark sheet and pass certificate

Currently, the university has concluded its admission for the academic batch 2024. Further, as more than 100 colleges & institutions are affiliated with the university so, the admission dates for each institution can vary. However Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University will soon release the admission dates for the 2025 batch of BA courses. It is suggested that candidates frequently visit the university's official website to be updated.

According to NIRF rankings 2024, NIT Delhi is ranked #45 in the Engineering category whereas NIT Hamirpur is rank lies between #101-150 in the same rankings. Therefore, NIT Delhi has a much better NIRF ranking than NIT Hamirpur.

NIRF Rankings take into account teaching resources at the institute, research infrastructure, outcomes after graduation, inclusivity and perception of the institution. Thus NIRF ranking can be a good indicator when comparing colleges. According to the 2024 rankings, NIT Delhi is doing better than NIT Hamirpur.

Direct admission is not available for BA courses at PRSU. However, candidates can get admission into BA courses based on their Class 12 scores. The basic eligibility criteria required by the university to get admission to BA courses is candidates must complete their higher senior secondary with at least an aggregate of 50%. The university evaluated the applicants' HSC scores and released the merit list, if candidates' names appear in the merit list they can get a seat in the program after paying an adequate amount of course fees.
