To ease the process of applying for the scholarships, MtA has made this process easy. Students can apply for the scholarships at the same time when they apply for admission. To be considered for scholarships, the applicants must their application and scholarships by March 1.

Details of Scholarships for First-Year Students

• Entrance Scholarships: Students are automatically considered for this scholarship if they have an admission average of 80% or above. The scholarship amount ranges from CAD 4,000 – CAD 20,000. These are awarded to those students who showcase extracurricular involvement, community service, leadership experience, academic achievement, and work / internship experience
• Major Scholarships and Awards: In order to get this scholarship, the applicants are required to submit their most recent transcript. In case students are applying for early admission with Grade 11 marks, a Grade 12 course list should be included. Steps to Apply to Mount Allison University Application

• First of all, complete the application and submit it. Create the application account, enter the asked details, and pay USD 50 (INR 4K) as an application fee to submit the application form. (USD 1=INR 83.43 on 20 Jun 2024)
• Submit the supporting documents such as academic transcripts, English language proficiency test score, copy of passport or government-issued photo id
• After this, if students are granted admission, they will receive the decision and offer letter via email
• Once students have been accepted, pay the registration deposit of CAD 450 (for international students)

According to unofficial sources, Mount Allison University acceptance rate is around 80%. The acceptance rate justifies that the university is less selective in the context of admissions. So, to get into MtA, the applicants should aim to get good scores in their studies and then, at the time of admissions, they should meet all the entry requirements.

The minimum entry requirements for Indian applicants are that the applicants must submit documents like High Secondary Certificate Examinations (HSC) / Senior School Certificate Examinations (CBSE) / Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (ISC Board). Apart from this, the applicants must meet minimum percentage of marks (minimum 65% in all courses taken) and relevant course requirements as these can vary from course to course.
