Dear Meghamala,
There are few universities in UK which do not ask for work experience for MBA however most of the universities do ask for the same.
These are the universities where you can try :- Cardiff University , University of Wales-Newport, Liverpool John Moores University, University of Aberdeen, Holborn College, West London College etc.

You ideally need six months of preparartion, for your CAT exam. CAT is held each year, in the month of November 2011 . If you are looking at a coaching institute, you can look at, IMS , CAREER FORUM or TIME. If you are targetting the IIM's you need to ensure, that you get at least 98 percentile, in your CAT.
