As you might be aware, when you take an improvement exam, the best score out of the two is considered. So if you didn't take the Physics exam for whatever reason, you'll be marked absent and thus receiving no new marks. Therefore your better marks, the previous score, will be considered as final. Meanwhile for the other two subjects, whatever remains the best score will be considered, be it the new or the old marks.
