You may try in NIT Warangal. However, as a friend I would suggest you to keep other options open. With 406 score, you may try in :
-Delhi College of Engineering
-Thapar Patiala
-Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh
-MNNIT Allahabad
Generally, every student receives a GATE score which is associated with two points, i.e., valid time period and qualifying marks. Your score is only valid when it is above or equal to the score of qualifying marks.
