For JoSAA counselling, candidates can get admission in NITs, IIITs, IITs, and GFTIs1. While admission is possible up to a 3 Lacs rank in JEE Main, securing admission in popular NITs and B.Tech specializations is limited for a low rank in JEE Main (above 1,00,000).
After the conclusion of six rounds of JoSAA counselling, two special rounds are conducted by CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) for the vacant seats1.
