Manipur University offers BTech via its affiliated college, Manipur Institute of Technology. For admission to the BTech course, a JEE Main score is required to get shortlisted. However, candidates are also provided with the option of applying for the BTech course without a JEE score. Candidates who are applying under the Non-JEE category, an entrance test conducted for the remaining seats that are not filled by the candidates with a JEE (Main) 2025 score card.  

Manipur University's BTech course is offered via its affiliated college, Manipur Institute of Technology. The course is delivered across multiple specialisations, including Computer Science and Engineering. The eligibility criteria for the CSE course are Class 12 with 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST) in any one of the subjects: Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subject/Computer Science. 

To get BCom admission at MAHGU, aspirants must first ensure that they are eligible as per the eligibility requirements specified by the university. The next is to submit an application online or offline. MAHGU BCom admission is granted to eligible applicants who manage to make it to the merit list released by the university. The merit list is released based on the criteria decided by the university. The criteria differs from course to course and year to year. For BCom admission, the university may conduct an entrance exam (MAHGEE) or consider the marks obtained by the applicants in the last qualified exam (Class 12/ equivalent).
