1. Eligibility for B.ed-
(a) Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+3 or 11+2+2 pattern, or with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+2 or 11+3 pattern
(b) Should have studied at least any one subject at graduation level (at
least for two years)/post graduation level as a main subject.

2. St. Thomas College of Teacher Education
3. University of Calicut
3. TET will have two papers with multiple-choice questions-
*Paper I will be for those intending to become teachers for classes I-V.
*Paper II will be for those aspiring to teach between classes VI and VIII.
Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear for both papers.
Eligibility Criteria:
*The minimum qualification for classes 1 to 5, Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or applying in final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its equivalent). (OR) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or aspiring in final 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El, Ed).
*The minimum qualification for classes 6 to 8, B.A/B.Sc with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in education (B.Ed). (OR) BA/B.Sc with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed (Special Education).
