Students can get admission engineering courses through the national level or university level entrance tests. Various universities conduct their separate entrance test to offer admissions. In case of vacant seats, admission may also be done through the merit of the qualifying exam.
Entrance Exam:
Admission in B.Tech will be made through JEE Mains exam. It is a national level exam organized by the CBSE board. For admission in IIT students have to qualify both JEE Main &JEE Advanced exams. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University organizes the IPUCET (university level) exam for providing admission in B.Tech courses offered by IPU and its affiliated colleges.

There are mainly two ways you can do it. First is through CPT or CA foundation and second through direct entry route. - CPT Route
First you have to apply for CA course which will be done through ICAIs ( Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) website along with prescribed fees and get enrolled for CPT course. Then after passing CPT exam you have to apply for IPCC or CA Intermediate along with your CPT mark sheet and prescribed fees. After that you have to complete ICITSS training which spans approximately 30 days ( 15days information technology and 15 days orientation programme) before your practical training ( I. e. articleship) which takes 3 years. After that you have to complete AICITSS ( IT and MS) and only after that you can attempt CA final exams
- DIRECT ENTRY ROUTE
the process is almost similar to CPT route. Direct entry route is for those who have completed their graduation. For applying through direct entry route you have to score at least 55% in graduation. If you meet the criteria you can skip CPT and directly apply for CA intermediate. - Other things
The examinations of CA (either foundation, intermediate or final)are conducted twice a year, June and December for CPT & May and November in case of IPCC and Final. And applying for a course is different from applying for examination. You have to separately apply for appearing in examination. Also all fee paid is inclusive of study material. Further there are no colleges for CA. ICAI host classes for students but there are a lot of private institutes who provide teaching services to students.
