There are lot of Creative fields, where there is a great scope of going very high in life. I would suggest he should continue his +2 in Arts/ Humanities. After 12th he can take up UG courses in any of the following areas (Where Maths & Science not required). I have not mentioned Architecture / Gaming / Computer related courses etc. Here as they require Maths in their 10+2 and further. You have not mentioned his area of interest - so little difficult to guide as such. Here are just a few courses I have mentioned, there are many more.
1. Art Director/Graphic Design: - Though print media is in decline, it is by no means dead. Art Directors are responsible for managing the concepts that lead to advertising and layout in print. Larger online venues will also staff Art Directors to maintain the visual integrity of web pages and create traffic-generating advertising products. As the role of the Art Director expands to cover an increasingly wider range of media, the position often requires more technical and creative savvy than it used to. This career is a good application of a Bachelor of Fine Arts, but degrees in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, or Art Administration are better choices these days.
2. Fashion Designer: - Fashion Industry glowing internationally. B. Des. Fashion Design or Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design is an undergraduate Fashion and Interior Design course. Fashion Design is the study of creating original designs in garments, footwear, jewelleries, luggage, etc. And a study of the ever-changing trends in the fashion industry and market. NIFT / NID are the best to offer these courses in India.
3. Film Acting / Film Making - not sure if your son has any interest in this areas. FTTI, NSD are the Government aided colleges offering the best UG courses. Besides there are many Private colleges as well. Let me know your son's area of interest - I will try to help choosing a field.

This College Offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by AICTE and comes under by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
Total Fees for 4 years: approximately INR 221000/-
Hostel Fee Separate. It is approx. INR 11000/- to INR 60000/- per year depending on the room type you choose.
Eligibility: Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
There are six hostels in this institute. Five of it are for boys and girls have the separate one. Names of the hostel are on the basis of famous rivers of India .The capacity of boys hostel is Approx. 1025 triple seated rooms and that of girls hostel is Approx. 205 triple seated rooms. The hostels are in perfect shape and provide all the basic facilities to the students. Each hostel has got its own mess. Food available is delicious and the menu is decided by the students themselves.
The messes are managed by nominated representatives of students under the overall supervisions of wardens.
The newly admitted boy's students are kept in separate hostels away from senior students to avoid ragging.
There is a team of a DSW and warden for each of the hostel. All the student complaints regarding the room maintenance are routed through the warden of the hostel to the concerned authorities.
