One thing that makes practice easier is doing as many questions as possible on regular basis. Pick up the previous year papers and solve them without any help first, then pick up the answer keys (don't rely 100% on books for the accurate answer keys, hardly there is any; try to download as many answer keys as available from the CBSE NET website only). Give yourself marks and then concentrate on those questions and topics that you did wrong, (also concentrate on the questions that you did right, for example you know about only one option and that happens to be the correct answer too, about rest 3 options -you are unaware of; thinking that such questions don't need attention because you ultimately did them right would be a mistake). So you need to brush up your content for NTA UGC NET, that you don't know or understand in a single paper or a set of questions, don't just solve a paper, use google, books to find and understand the right option, and try to know about the options you are unaware of even for the questions attempted correctly by you. So basically you are developing content from the questions. Also, judge your performance on the basis of the marks that you are getting in the previous papers or the sample papers. Make sure that they are improving day by day. This way you would be able to work on your weaknesses and be able to realize your strengths. If you would start from the content, it would be boring and you will be like what to do or what to not but questions will develop your approach of thinking, and your confidence too. Make sure you are completing your previous years in the specified time for each paper so that timing doesn't remain an issue.

You can appear for UGC NET in Management even though you have done Post-Graduation in Commerce. I want to add that the easiest subject to choose for UGC NET JRF is the one which you have studied in your Graduation and Post-Graduation. The minimum eligibility criteria stipulated at the NTA UGC bulletin is a Masters or equivalent degree with 55% marks from a University recognised by UGC. Therefore, you can either choose the subject in which you have done your graduation and post-graduation or you can also go for another subject of your interest. If you go for some other subject for UGC NET Exam http://bit.ly/2FSok2K apart from what you have studied in your Post-Graduation, more than 50% of the subjects would have not been studied. For example, even if you go for Management UGC NET Exam, even if you have done M.Com then 50% of the subjects would have not been studied. So, you will find it very difficult to clear the exam even if you have a very good hold on Graduation & Post-Graduation subjects. BUT if you choose the subject in which you have pursued your post-graduation, then you will find it easier to qualify UGC NET and get JRF Certification. But if you are planning to go to another subject you can do that also. According to me, the most advisable option is to always go for the subject in which you have done your Post-Graduation.
